Reading Into Art 2024

Local Artists Reimagine Local Books

Authors Amanda Cockrell, Cathryn Hankla and Willa Reece discuss their books in front of pieces of art depicting the work.Book No Further and Art on 1st are partnering for the second Reading into Art, a celebration of the literary and visual creativity of our local community.  

Artists are invited to choose one of the following books by a local author and bring it to life in a creative way in any media. The program will culminate with an artist/author reception at  at Art on 1st in May. Art deadline is late April.
