'Nationalism has been authored by Rabindranath Tagore (7th May 1861 - 7th August 1941) He was a poet, writer, playwright, composer, philosopher, social reformer. He is well known by his creation - 'Gitanjali'. After this he became the first Indian to win the Nobel prize in literature.

Politically, as such ment a big isue but Socially lots of refarms are required. Tagore himself suffered from disillusionment. However he retained his faith in humanity. He considead that the power of self-sacrifice and the moral faculty of sympathy are the guiding sprite of Social vitality.
